Who is suitable to volunteer?
If you are the right person, you will take as much from volunteering as you give. So if you share our passion for empowering and supporting people then volunteering could be the ideal thing for you! All you have to do is complete the process below. You will receive all relevant training and will always be supported by our friendly and experienced team.
How do you become a volunteer?
Simply get in touch, as the process is quite simple:
- Informal conversation with manager
- Complete application form and CRB
- Book onto and complete training
- Sample a holiday with an approved holiday supporter buddy
Training
Each volunteer is given training in the following areas:
- Positive Support in Practice
- First Aid
- Health & Safety
- Equal Opportunities
- Medication
- Moving and Handling
Does it cost anything?
All training is free to volunteers. Plus, once you are trained, all holidays that you support on are free.
