A quintessentially English coffee shop with a dash of vintage couture!

Well, the time is upon us, but what is the date? In real time, May 1st sees the opening of Avalon’s newest social enterprise.

The House of Avalon, a chic new vintage clothing and coffee shop, is set to create new job opportunities and revolutionise York’s cafe culture. The shop – opening in a prime location at 5 High Petergate, in the heart of the historic city – will incorporate a stylish cafe area alongside a vintage couture clothes room, with its own resident vintage hairstylist.

High Petergate provides the perfect base for this exclusive and highly individual retail business, as a quaint and bustling shopping street nestled beside the celebrated York Minster.

The House of Avalon will be a quirky retail outfit selling classic vintage clothing and stunning accessories in the styles that are associated with the much celebrated 1910 to 1950’s eras.

Look out for our next issue, featuring news and photos from the launch of this fabulous new enterprise.
