I went to see Cinderella at Billingham Forum Theatre on the 6th of January with The Avalon Group.
Pippa, Debra and two other ladies and support staff went too.
It was a good night. The actors were so funny. I cried with laughter.
There were bubbles coming from the sky to look like snow, and water pistols were fired on the audience. Also a lot of ‘oh no it’s not’ and ‘look behind you’.
There was even a magic show doing spinning of plates and throwing things in the air.
The costumes were really good. They were bright and colourful with fine detail on some of the costumes. And there were men dressed up as ladies.
I think it was well thought of and put together, from the song to the jokes to the costumes to the animals, like the real ponies being on the stage, to getting the kids up to sing.
One of the ugly sisters lost her wig for real and she could not stop laughing. All the people on the stage started to laugh and forgot their words and then started to make it look like it was meant to be in the script.
I never laughed so much in my life. I would see it again.
I even got the signatures and talked to the cast back stage. They were so nice and polite.
We talked to Crissy Rock out of ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’ and Julia Haworth who plays Claire in ‘Coronation Street’.
We had a fab time. It was so funny.
Thank you to Debra for arranging the outing for us. We all enjoyed ourselves. I hope we can go to another panto. Thank you so much.
