Out and About at Blackpool Illuminations

Skipton's Out and About Group, Part 2: Avalon customer Amy and Support Worker Nina talk about a trip to Blackpool to see the illuminations

Here is the next instalment the Skipton Out and About Group. This month it has been written by customer Amy (left) and Support Worker Nina (right) who are on the picture to the left.

This month we enjoyed a trip to Blackpool to see the illuminations. We enjoyed a walk and looked at the lovely sea, I also enjoyed the cool air, the beach and the birds. We stopped for a hot chocolate at a café to have a rest. In the amusement arcade I put a £1.00 into the machine and tried to grab a huge bar of chocolate, a treat for me and my sister, but I just missed it! I thought this was funny!!

I enjoyed travelling next to Lizzie, we had fun laughing with each other and we saw some lovely lights. I especially liked the heart shaped one.
