We have a team of staff who provide a Floating Support Service to tenants of Housing Association or Local Authority housing.
A few examples include:
- Dealing with correspondences and managing finances
- Helping you attend appointments or events
- Accessing social/leisure activities to broaden your circle of friends and increase your interests and hobbies
- Assisting with domestic jobs – particularly anything that you cannot manage alone
- Helping you with practical tasks if you are at home recovering from a stay in hospital
- Researching and making contact with other agencies that could offer you additional help
We can also provide tailored packages to meet most needs, so please contact us to discuss them – you may even be able to get free support as some is funded through Stockton Borough Council!
The Avalon Group’s Supported Living Service provides a diverse range of services to help people live the lives they choose. All of our Support Workers are carefully selected, fully trained and police checked.
We are registered as an approved provider with both Supporting People and the Care Quality Commission. 80% of our services achieve an ‘Excellent’ rating with 20% being ‘Good’.
