The Avalon Group’s Sitting Service provides breaks for those who care for someone. Our Support Workers are experienced in providing support for people of all ages with dementia, Alzheimer's, long-term illnesses and disabilities. The Sitting Service is not just a matter of ‘sitting’. Depending on a person’s capabilities and interests, we can accompany them on a wide range of activities such as shopping trips or social events. This ensures the customer enjoys new experiences outside the home. Alternatively, we can offer companionship and practical support in the home.
The Supported Living Service provides a diverse range of services to help people live the lives they choose. All of our Support Workers are carefully selected, fully trained and police checked. We are registered as an approved provider with both Supporting People and the Care Quality Commission. 80% of our services achieve an ‘Excellent’ rating with 20% being ‘Good’.
Avalon’s Sitting Service can be paid for by individual budgets or you can pay privately at an hourly rate of £12.99.
