Sitting Service

The Sitting Service provides occasional short breaks for carers in the Teesside area.

Anybody who cares for someone for a substantial amount of time on a regular basis is eligible for this free service.

The Sitting Service isn’t just ‘sitting’; we accompany customers on:

shopping trips
walks
social activities
excursions

We believe in finding the best possible match for our clients. This is done through a personal visit to ascertain your needs.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our recruitment and rigorous selection policy, which includes our customers on interview panels. You can be secure in the knowledge that our Support Workers are fully trained, reliable and trustworthy, with all references completed.

If regular sitting is required, this can be paid for through your Direct Payment of Individualised Budget.
