From October 1, 2020 The Director of Public Health has advised that routine visiting (except for people who are near the end of their lives) across the North Yorkshire County should now cease for the month of October.
The number of local people testing positive for Coronavirus is increasing. At the same time, the national testing programme is facing difficulties keeping up with demand. And this means more serious measures need to be put in place to ensure the safety of ourselves and others.
Localities across the North of England are responding to the advice in different ways. In some areas if you have a loved one who is a supported living customer, you might not be able to visit them inside their homes throughout October.
