My previous positions have been as a senior executive, with over 30 years’ experience leading organisations that deliver business services and software to the Public Sector. My passion for improving the lives of the most vulnerable in society has been my driving force throughout my career.
Since relocating to North Yorkshire, I have joined the Boards of Connect Housing and Ripon Community Link, as well as Avalon Group, which has allowed me to continue to use my experience to add value to the charitable sector in Housing and Social Care.
The values at Avalon really resonated with me and Avalon’s approach to customers, in terms of personalising the services provided, actually makes a real difference.
I believe in a fair society and I am passionate that we support and improve the lives of the most vulnerable communities.
My wife Lisa and I really enjoy walking in the moors and also travelling. We also like to watch football and rugby. I have 4 grown up children and one grandson who keep me very busy at all other times!
