Administrator - Temporary Appointment (S207)

16 hours per week, to be worked over a minimum of 3 days.
Salary: up to £16,500 pro rata per annum (depending on experience)
 This is a temporary post for 6 months.
Who are we?

The Avalon Group is an award–winning Social Care Charity providing the highest quality care and support for over 20 years to a wide range of individuals, including people with learning and/or physical disabilities, dementia or mental health needs.

 

What does the role involve?

In this role, you will provide administrative support to the locality team. You will undertake a wide range of duties, which will include diary management, maintaining database records, filling and liaising directly with customers and visitors. The work involved is often varied and sometimes sensitive or confidential in nature.

You will be a natural organiser, a good communicator with great attention to detail, and will be comfortable working with ICT Software such as Outlook, Word and Excel.

You will enjoy working to deadlines and can work on your own initiative. Although previous experience would be advantageous, we are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
