Shared Lives Carers Doncaster
Work from home to care for others
Under the Shared Lives scheme, fully trained paid carers open their homes to people with a disability, mental health need and/or dementia to stay with them on either a short or long-term basis. This can also include day opportunities and respite, so if you only have a few hours a week to offer you can still become a carer.
A care background is by no means essential as full training is provided, and our matching process ensures that you and the customers you support are matched closely on lifestyle, hobbies and needs.
As a Shared Lives carer you could receive tax relief of up to £25,000 and can expect to receive between £200 and £500 per week, per supported individual. The other major benefit of course is that you would be working from home, helping to support someone who will truly benefit from a family environment.
If you have room to spare and a caring heart then please get in touch either by telephone on 01302 739178 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org to find out the next steps.
