Measures from July 19th
In summary, to keep everyone safe:
- We will continue with our use of PPE and all COVID measures put in place by Avalon until further notice
- We will continue with our weekly PCR testing programme for all frontline workers
- A lateral flow test will be undertaken by anyone (including Shared Lives carers) attending face-to-face training – this must be done on the day and before attending the training venue
- If a Lateral Flow Test result comes back positive, staff and Shared Lives carers must self-isolate until they have undertaken a PCR test and received a negative result before they will return to work
The Prime Minister recently announced that from July 19th most COVID restrictions will be removed.
The safety of our customers, our communities, our people and our loved ones will always be our number one priority. That’s why as an organisation we will be continuing with the measures we have in place until further notice.
This means that any visitors to our office will need to let us know in advance of their visit, wear the correct face coverings, make use of sanitising stations and maintain social distancing. We’ll keep monitoring any updated guidance from the Department of Health & Social Care and our local authorities, and use this information to help shape any changes we may make toward easing these measures.
