Having supported Avalon during recent years and through the pandemic, I was delighted to take on the role of CEO in December 2022. I joined the Avalon Senior Management Team in 2018 as Finance Director following previous senior leadership roles in the charitable social care sector. Prior to this, I began my career at KPMG as a Chartered Accountant before gaining a breadth of experience in social care.
With a strong commercial background and focus on partnerships and collaboration, I am looking forward to helping shape Avalon’s strategic direction and to increasing our reach as a regional provider of personalised support.
In addition to my work at Avalon, I am a trustee at The Advonet Group, a Leeds-based independent advocacy charity which provides statutory and community advocacy and related services that promote empowerment and inclusion.
Outside of work I am kept very busy by two young daughters’ hectic schedules. To relax, I enjoy food (cooking and eating it) and running it off after!
