Our trained and approved workforce provide a comprehensive range of services that can help you maximise your independence.
We believe community is best, and as such we provide support either within your own home, a shared house, or accommodate you as part of our Shared Lives service. We can also source new accommodation for you, and provide care and support in your new home.
Support to match your needs and aspirations
Our workforce provide support from 1 – 24 hours a day in your own home or in the community. Typical care and support packages include:
- Personal care – e.g. bathing, dressing, support at mealtimes
- Support with domestic tasks
- Administering medication
- Support to undertake leisure activities – e.g. attending events, visits to the shops, library etc.
- Support to remain within the workplace or place of learning
- Training to maintain or develop life skills – e.g. dealing with official correspondence, financial and housing matters
- Befriending and companionship, including a sitting service for family carers
With Avalon you can take control of your own life, taking positive steps to achieve your goals and dreams. If you need help with anything you just have to ask.
We strongly believe that our customers are at the centre of everything we do. As such no two care packages are the same – they depend on what you want and need.
We are widely recognised as a market leading specialist provider of support for people with complex support needs. These needs may be serious or intense and can include sensory or communication needs which affect behaviour.
This allows you to remain part of your local community, close to family, friends and surrounded by a strong support network.
Contact Avalon’s Care Team who will discuss your individual needs.
You may be eligible for financial support through Local Authority funding or you can access the service privately. Our Care Team will discuss these options with you.
