Care Housing Association

Care HA work in partnership with us to offer innovative and market leading housing opportunities, which put charity and community at the heart of their offering. We first worked with Care HA on a development of 6 supported living apartments in Kirklees, which gave 6 local people the chance to live independently for the first time. This development delivered a huge impact, with the customers there achieving more and more each year and seeing their support hours reduce as they became confident in managing the aspects of their daily life.

Avalon is currently working on new developments with Care Housing, and we are proud to call them partners and friends.

Froneri

Froneri, an ice cream manufacturer based in Leeming Bar, Northallerton, has launched its first community engagement programme in partnership with three Yorkshire charities and Avalon Group is delighted to have been selected. Froneri ICE (Inspiring Community Engagement) is a three-year long programme of activity that will inspire Froneri employees to support their local community, alongside annual donations of £20,000 for three years to each charity to help them continue their invaluable work.

Froneri has various brand led social responsibility projects such as Nuii’s partnership with WildArk supporting biodiversity projects in wild places, and Kelly’s sponsorship of the Bumblebee Conservation Trust to support sustainable local farming and bumblebee friendly meadows. Despite this, Froneri has recognised that there is more it can do to provide support to the people on its doorstep – its local community.

Froneri’s Head of UK, Mike Fraine, said: “We launched Froneri ICE because we recognised that as a business and as individual employees, we all have an active role to play in supporting the communities in which we work and live. We are proud to be a part of the Yorkshire region, and we want to do what we can to help our communities thrive. We hope that through Froneri ICE, we can make a positive difference to the lives of our charity partners’ clients.”
