Our partnerships

We proudly work in partnership with lots of different organisations to make sure we’re supporting our customers in the best way possible. These partnerships vary from social care specialist networking organisations, housing landlords, through to disability action charities.

Shared Lives Plus

Welcome to Shared Lives Plus. We are the UK membership charity for more than 6,000 Shared Lives carers, 150 Shared Lives schemes and a growing network of over 25 local Homeshare organisations.

Our vision is a kinder, stronger society built on sharing our lives and our homes. We help build communities where everyone lives a full life, regardless of the support they need. We do this by turning Shared Lives and Homeshare into thriving, mainstream options, with all the right structures in place to support and guide who want to share their lives and homes.

Froneri

Froneri, an ice cream manufacturer based in Leeming Bar, Northallerton, has launched its first community engagement programme in partnership with three Yorkshire charities and The Avalon Group is delighted to have been selected. Froneri ICE (Inspiring Community Engagement) is a three-year long programme of activity that will inspire Froneri employees to support their local community, alongside annual donations of £20,000 for three years to each charity to help them continue their invaluable work.

Froneri has various brand led social responsibility projects such as Nuii’s partnership with WildArk supporting biodiversity projects in wild places, and Kelly’s sponsorship of the Bumblebee Conservation Trust to support sustainable local farming and bumblebee friendly meadows. Despite this, Froneri has recognised that there is more it can do to provide support to the people on its doorstep – its local community.

Froneri’s Head of UK, Mike Fraine, said: “We launched Froneri ICE because we recognised that as a business and as individual employees, we all have an active role to play in supporting the communities in which we work and live. We are proud to be a part of the Yorkshire region, and we want to do what we can to help our communities thrive. We hope that through Froneri ICE, we can make a positive difference to the lives of our charity partners’ clients.”
